Military vehicle  Restoration Projects

I have been a collector, restorer and historian of military vehicles  for many years.

This page is a  collection of  photos, both of vehicles that I have owned and restored, as well as pictures that I have collected over the years of original vehicles for reference.

I started in the hobby in the late 1970s working with my best friend, the Late Charlie Petro restoring a White M3A1 Halftrack on Staten Island, in New York City. (It is safe to say that it was the only privately owned armored vehicle in NYC at the time).

While stripping the paint on the hood, above the radiator armor, we found that the troops the track was issued to, had named it "Janet". In many ways "Janet" was my first love and get me ready for relationships with women-  She was tempermental, took up most of my off duty time and I was  always
